Our Secret to Deep Black Color
The deep black comes from our 16 years of work. We use a nano-level grinding process. We grind the black pigment until it is very fine. The particle size is between 100 and 200 nanometers. That is much smaller than a human hair. Then we use a special agent to wrap each particle. This stops them from clumping together. When the coating is applied, the particles spread flat and even. Light does not scatter. This gives you a deep, rich black. We follow the ISO 4599 standard to control color. The color difference (ΔE) is less than 0.3 from batch to batch. This is perfect for demanding car part makers.
Data That Proves the Quality
Black has a standard. We use a special machine to measure it. Our blackness value (My) is over 200. You will see a pure, deep black. For gloss, we measure at a 60° angle. It is over 90% (ASTM D523) . This is the same level as a solvent-based top coat. We also measure distinctness of image (DOI). This shows how clear the reflection is. Our DOI value is 0.8. It is not just about looks. It has strong inner strength. For corrosion, with a 20-micron film on carbon steel, it passes 720 hours in the ASTM B117 salt spray test. For hardness, it is 3H by the ISO 15184 standard. We also test wear. We use the ASTM D4060 standard with a CS-10 wheel and a 1000g load for 1000 cycles. Our coating loses less than 30 milligrams.
