One System, Many Possibilities
We are Quzhou Chengji Coating from Zhejiang, China. This water-based two-component paint is our custom platform. The base (Part A) and the hardener (Part B) are separate. You mix them just before use. This gives you great flexibility. By changing the mix ratio or choosing a different Part B, you can make many types from the same base. You can make a version for high rust protection, one for high weather resistance, one for high hardness, or one for low-temperature cure. One client makes both outdoor and indoor products. They used to have two different paints and two different tanks. Now with this system, they just change the Part B. Their management cost was cut in half.
A Library of Hardeners to Choose From
Our Part A has the water-based epoxy-acrylic resin and additives. Part B is a "hardener library." For different needs, we have different hardeners.
Aliphatic Isocyanate: For great weather resistance. This is for outdoor products.
Aromatic Isocyanate: For the best rust protection. This is for heavy-duty uses.
Low-Temperature Hardener: For parts that cannot take high heat.
When you are ready, you mix them at a ratio of 4:1 to 6:1 as per ISO 15528. Then you let it sit for 20-40 minutes to pre-react. This gives a stable bath.
Data for Long Life in the Sun
For outdoor use, we suggest the aliphatic hardener. This gives a weather-resistant coating.
QUV Test (ASTM G154, 1000 hours): The coating keeps over 85% of its gloss. The color change is small.
2000 hours: It still keeps over 70% of its gloss.
For reference, a standard epoxy system loses over 70% of its gloss after 1000 hours. It also turns yellow. Our product is three times more weather-resistant. One client makes solar panel frames. They needed a coating for 25 years of outdoor use. They used to use powder coating. It was costly. With our weather-resistant two-component paint, their cost went down by 30%. It passed the 25-year aging test.

Hardness Like a Ceramic
For parts with high friction like door locks and tools, we use a multi-functional hardener. This gives very high cross-link density.
Hardness (ISO 15184): 5H to 6H. A normal pencil is HB. 6H is close to an inorganic coating.
Abrasion (ASTM D4060): With a CS-17 wheel and 1000g load for 1000 cycles, the weight loss is under 20 mg. A standard coating loses 40-50 mg.
Scratch Resistance: The critical load is much higher.
One client makes smart door locks. They needed the coating to last 100,000 openings. With our product, they passed. Now they offer a 5-year warranty.
A Low-Temperature Cure for Sensitive Metals
Some metals cannot take high heat. This includes some aluminum, magnesium, and composites. Our low-temperature hardener cures at 120-130°C for 20-30 minutes. This is 40-50°C lower than normal. It saves about 30-40% on energy. It also stops the heat from harming the metal's strength. One client makes lightweight car parts from aluminum. They used to use a chemical oxide treatment. The rust protection was poor. With our low-temperature system, they now have an electrocoat that does not harm the aluminum. This is the flexibility of two-component. It helps you unlock new applications.
